Orlando Housing Market
According the the Orlando Housing Market for April, Orlando median home prices continue to climb as inventory steadily decreases.
Compared to April of 2016, Orlando home sales declined by 4% due to the inventory continuing to decline. Continuing the 69 month trend, as of April 2017 the median home price is 86.2 percent higher than July 2011. The overall median is currently $215,000, being 12% higher than the April 2016 median price of $192,000.
The 12% increase does include all home types, however the figures change when looking at the single-family homes vs condos. For single-family homes, the median increased by 11.2% over the last 12 months, now sitting at $233,500. Condos in Orlando have increased by a staggering 20% with the price sitting at $108,000.
