Downtown’s First Public Dog Park!
Earlier this year, to save the historic oak tree and preserve green space in the heart of Downtown Orlando, the City purchased Constitution Green. Since then, the city has been working on ways to enhance the community for their residents.
These plans include the creation of Downtown’s first public dog park area with an off-leash, fenced in area located in the northeast corner of the park. The proposed design will make Orlando a more attractive place to live, work, and play. Enhancements include new flowering trees that will provide more shade and color, benches for relaxing after a long day at work, sidewalks and a walking path to enjoy the beautiful oak trees in the park.
The dog run will provide an area for residents and visitors to interact, relax and create memories with one another.
The dog park will be located at the northeast corner of Construction Green, located at 301 South Eola Drive. The estimated completion is Fall 2016
