Brightline – The Luxury High-Speed Train Connecting Orlando and Miami
This is truly exciting!! On November 10th, All Aboard Florida announced the launch of Brightline, the high-speed train service connecting Miami and Orlando. This train will provide relaxing, fast, state-of-the-art travel between two of the worlds most popular travel destinations.
This environment friendly means to travel will only take three hours. Without the assumption of traffic, that is one hour less than typical drive time. In addition to reduced travel time, Brightline enables passengers to enjoy a worry free commute, providing the flexibility to read, relax or get some work done.
Passengers traveling to Miami from Orlando will board Brightline at the Orlando International airports latest expansion project, the Intermodal Transportation Hub, which is a state-of-the-art transportation hub that will accommodate three other regional rail systems (All Aboard Florida, Sunrail and possibly a proposed maglev-style train to International Drive). The train is expected to open for service from Miami to West Palm Beach in early 2017. Full travel from Orlando to Miami will be available by the end of 2017.
